By installing, accessing, or using the Trust Circle Shopify application ("the App"), you ("Merchant") agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, do not install or use the App.
These Terms form a legally binding agreement between you and Trust Circle ("we", "us", "our"). Your use of the App is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.
Trust Circle provides a product review management platform for Shopify merchants, including:
We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any feature of the App at any time with reasonable notice where practicable.
To use the App you must:
You are responsible for maintaining the security of your Shopify account and any credentials (e.g., SMTP passwords) you enter into the App.
The App is available on a Free plan and paid plans (Growth, Enterprise). Plan details, including review limits and features, are described on the App's billing page and App Store listing.
Paid plans are billed through Shopify's billing system. By selecting a paid plan, you authorise Shopify to charge your account on the applicable billing cycle. All fees are in USD unless stated otherwise.
Certain plans may include a free trial period. At the end of the trial, your plan will automatically convert to the selected paid plan unless you downgrade or cancel beforehand.
Subscription fees are non-refundable except where required by applicable law or at our sole discretion. If you believe a charge was made in error, contact us within 14 days.
If you exceed the review limit of your plan, we will notify you and you will need to upgrade to continue collecting new reviews. Existing reviews are not deleted when a limit is reached.

When customers submit reviews through your storefront, you act as the data controller and we act as the data processor on your behalf. You are responsible for:
We process customer data solely to provide the review service to you and will not use it for any other purpose. Full data processing details are in our Privacy Policy.
You control which reviews appear on your storefront. You may approve, reject, or remove any review using the manual or automated moderation tools provided.
You must not publish reviews that contain: hate speech, harassment, threats, sexually explicit material, personally identifiable information of third parties, or content that infringes intellectual property rights.
We reserve the right to remove content or suspend access if we become aware of reviews that violate these Terms or applicable law, though we have no obligation to monitor review content.
The App, including its design, code, and documentation, is owned by Trust Circle and protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. These Terms do not grant you any ownership rights in the App.
You retain ownership of your store's review data. You grant us a limited licence to store and process that data solely to provide the service.
THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.
We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses. We do not guarantee any specific results from using the App.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, TRUST CIRCLE SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR GOODWILL, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF OR INABILITY TO USE THE APP.
OUR TOTAL CUMULATIVE LIABILITY TO YOU FOR ANY CLAIMS ARISING UNDER THESE TERMS SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID TO US IN THE THREE MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.
You agree to indemnify and hold Trust Circle, its officers, directors, and employees harmless from any claims, damages, or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from: your use of the App, your violation of these Terms, or any content published through your store via the App.
Either party may terminate these Terms at any time. You may terminate by uninstalling the App. We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these Terms, with or without notice depending on the severity of the breach.
Upon termination, your right to use the App ceases immediately. Sections 8–11 and 13 survive termination.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which Trust Circle is registered, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes shall be resolved through good-faith negotiation first, and if unresolved, through binding arbitration or the courts of that jurisdiction.
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via the App or email at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use of the App after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
